You may be a professional designer or a budding art design student, but which ever you are we want to produce first class printing for you so we have outlined a few guidelines to help.

It is important to include a minimum 3mm bleed around your artwork. This is for cutting purposes. We allow a 2mm tolerance for cutting on all jobs.
We recommend keeping all text, logos etc. inside the safe area to avoid any possible cutting issues. There’s inevitable movement with printing and in the cutting process and if you have any text or important images to close to the finished cut line, it may be cropped and lost.
We advise you to set the safe area 5mm inside the artwork size. Please remember to include a minimum 3mm bleed to the outside of your artwork.
Please provide crop marks around all of your submitted/uploaded artwork.
Please only supply 1 version of your file, we do not require the artwork to be imposed or as "printers pairs".
We prefer all artwork to be supplied in PDF format and saved as high resolution (300dpi). Please save your PDF in the correct way and we require the following:
Resolution - Choose High Resolution
Compression Settings - For colour and greyscale this should be down sampled to 300dpi with "auto compression" set on high
Font Embedding - Should be set to "embed all fonts"
Please make sure Colour is set as CMYK not RGB (RGB artwork can be converted to CMYK but this could affect your artwork which we cannot be held responsible for).
Include all embedded images and convert all text to curves. Save as an EPS file.
Set Resolution to 300dpi when starting your new document. Save file as either TIFF or JPEG.
Other files not listed above must be saved either as a EPS or JPEG.
Please note: Artwork/files that are uploaded via our website and WeTransfer account will be deemed to be “print ready” and will be printed without Eco Colour Print Online providing a proof. It is the responsibility of the customer/client that the files submitted meet Eco Colour Print Online quality guidelines.
You will need to register an account to upload artwork/files to your order. Once logged in you can easily upload files to your order either from the product page or your shopping cart.
If you have more than 1 product in your shopping cart, you can assign each piece of artwork to each product; simply select the product from the drop down menu. You can also add some information in the description box – don’t forget to click on ‘Update Description’ when you are finished.
If you want to upload artwork to your order at a later date, simply navigate to ‘My Account’, once here select ‘File Uploader (Orders)’ and then choose your order from the list and select ‘Manage’, once here you can then upload artwork to your order.
If you are having problems using our upload feature on our website, please use our dedicated WeTrasnfer account where you can upload and send files up to 2GB in size. If you have already placed your order please include your Order Reference in the transfer - https://ecocolourprint.wetransfer.com.
Eco Colour Print Online do not provide a print proof (unless the artwork has been designed by Eco Colour Print Online artwork team), we try to make our service super-fast, so it's up to you to make sure everything is as it should be when you submit/upload your artwork. Please pay close attention to colours, page order, bleeds, spelling, fonts and pictures. We would always suggest getting another person to look at your work as a fresh pair of eyes going through the document may pick up mistakes which you have not found.
